O Douma

A short, home-made documentary about the destruction of the Duma suburb of Damascus in late 2012, made by one of its residents. “The idea of the film was to show how a city is invaded and violated by the Syrian army,” the filmmaker wrote.

WARNING: The last couple of minutes show the massacre that the regime forces carried out against unarmed civilians on the peripheries of the suburb in order to “penetrate it,” then forcing the survivors in each family to carry the bodies of their relatives to the town centre.
