‘Iran’s Secret Army’

Not very long ago, brigadier Ramazan Sharif, Sepah Pasdaran’s PR man, denied any kind of Iranian military interference in Syria. A few weeks ago, however, following bloody battles between a group of Iranian armed men fighting in Syria and opponents of the Assad regime, the Syrian opposition got hold of some footage filmed by Hadi Baghbani, a filmmaker related to Sepah Pasdaran, which clearly shows Iranian military activity in Syria.

Based on this footage, BBC Persian TV made this important and shocking documentary called ‘Iran’s Secret Army’. It tells the story of Iranian military activity in Syria and the everyday life of a commander of one of the Iranian forces in Syria, Ismaiel Heidari, who was killed in the battlefield.
