1,500 mosques destroyed in Syria

destroyed_mosqueOver 1,500 mosques in Syria, including some historical ones, have been targeted and destroyed by the Syrian regime forces, backed by Hezbollah Lebanon and Sepah Pasdaran.

We would like to remind our readers that when Hezbollah Lebanon and Sepah Pasdaran fighters started to fight in Syria in 2012, they claimed they were intervening in order to defend holy Shia shrines, such as the Sayyeda Zaynab one in Damascus, against takfiri jihadists. At the same time, the Assad forces they are supporting have been destroying numerous relgious sites considered sacred by other religious communities. Isn’t that called hypocrisy?
